The Invasion
of Upper Canada is a depiction of the War of 1812 as it was in the area of western Upper Canada during the years 1812-1815.
Visitors will experience life as it was in a vibrant village and functioning military camps. 2 full battles each day will see American
troops invade the area by water and land. Artillery explosions will amaze. Smoke will fill the air. Napoleonic demonstrations
of warfare of a different time as troops line up shoulder to shoulder to launch a wall of lead at their enemy. The village of
Fanshawe comes alive with sutlers and entertainment, which will amaze. See Fanshawe Pioneer Village as it has never been seen
before. There will be something for the entire family to enjoy. Food, shopping, displays, entertainment, performers, all steps
away from the military camps and battlefields.
